GoSimpleTax was established in 2013 with the mission of providing a Self Assessment solution for individuals to submit their tax return to HMRC without the need for an accountant.
Our software uses artificial intelligence designed to offer nudges and prompts to help you calculate the correct tax, whilst ensuring that no allowances or savings are missed.
We have established ourselves as a leading software provider in Self Assessment, as an enhanced alternative to the HMRC service. Our app is used by more than 20,000 individuals and businesses to complete and submit their annual tax returns.

James Cryne
DIRECTOR
James joined the team as a Director after leaving Keytime Objective Ltd following the successful sale & handover of the company to the IRIS Group. He was instrumental in making Keytime one of the largest accountancy practice software suppliers in the UK. Now adding over 20 years of self assessment tax knowledge to the GoSimpleTax team.
Amanda Swales
DIRECTOR
Amanda is ACC qualified and has 30 years’ experience in software and administrating systems. Her enthusiasm towards partners is uncompromising, she has an energy and desire to ensure partners and their clients/members see major benefits from the partnership.

Mike has worked for HMRC and in practice for most of his 30 year career and has a detailed understanding of personal and small business taxation, bringing depth of knowledge to the product development process, driven by the users journey and maximising tax savings.

Louise started her tax journey working for HMRC as a Revenue Assistant/Revenue Officer for 11 years. Since then she’s gained over 18 years’ worth of experience working as a Tax Senior. Louise is driven by providing first class support to our users.

Zak joined the team as a Tax Support Apprentice and is currently completing his ATT qualification. He is developing his understanding of tax law as a whole with the aim of becoming a knowledgable advisor in regards to tax compliance.

Aiden started his tax journey working in practice 8 years ago. He completed his ATT qualification and more recently sat his Chartered Tax Advisor exams. Aiden has a wealth of tax knowledge with him and aims to help develop new services.
